Been a while but I have to tell you, life has been busy. My usual slow way of going had to speed up for a bit. But that’s life. There will be times when you have to step out of your comfort zone. Step out of the way you normally go about your day to day. Those are the moments when you start to feel alive and get to break the occasional monotonous day-to-day.
I was tested during this time. After coming out about some things in my life, opening up about who I am, I’ve been able to breath and do a little soul searching. Some good, some not so good. I had to sit back and evaluate my faith. I determined I am a Christian. I really am. Since denouncing my faith I felt a hole. I felt alone. Like something was missing. I firmly believe denouncing my faith was a test by God. He knew I’d come back. He knew all along. I’ve actually come out of this stronger, more devout, and ready to live as pure a life as I can.
Nothing else has changed. I’m a liberal “socialist” who supports liberal social ideals. Nothing will ever change that. I am working to get involved in more social agendas, and even political, including the DNC. Getting involved is the best way to show your beliefs and what you stand for.
I’ve also learned I’ve missed blogging so you’ll be seeing a lot more posts coming from me. I’ve been too serious also so be prepared for some good lighthearted news. If you haven’t already, also be sure to check out my art, design and culture blog Vagabondize.
You’ve been warned.
